Chef Mark Wilcox of Culinary Arts Tutor has nearly 15 years of food preparation and cooking experience with a unique background in personal service. Events such as Dinner Parties, Cooking Classes, and One on One Cooking Lessons are my favorite. I personally shop for all of the items used for your party, ensuring the highest quality ingredients. On average I will visit at least 3 shopping centers and one or two specialty shops.

I believe it is essential that each client is completely satisfied with my services. I intend to provide an event that you will never forget. To do so, I will take the time to plan your class, lesson, or cooking class party with you personally.

Culinary Arts Tutor's Policies

I will customize a class or menu to your particular tastes.

Additional charges may apply based on the cost of the food. The cost ceiling is 36% of the price of the event. Additional charges must be paid prior to your event. I can provide an estimate within 48 hours of booking an event. Remember, veal and truffles cost a bit more than chicken and button mushrooms.

I would appreciate as much advance notice as possible to book or cancel any event. I am the sole proprietor of Culinary Arts Tutor. I cannot book two events in the same day. However, if I can accommodate you on short notice, I would be happy to do so.

Set Up Time: Please plan a window of thirty minutes to one hour before your scheduled event for my arrival. Traffic, weather, and volume of your party may dictate when I arrive.

Usually, cooking classes work the best if we use your china, flatware, and stemware.  Plates, silverware, glassware etc. can be provided for an additional $4 per person.

Service personnel may be contracted for any event. The charge is $30 per hour with a four-hour minimum for all personnel.

As a cooking instructor I am not legally permitted to "sell" alcoholic beverages. Clients must purchase these items separately. I can help pair wine with you.

Cancellations can only be accepted for a refund minus any transaction costs with a 48-hour notice. After which time food ordering and or purchasing is in place and work has already begun on your party. If you need to cancel your party with less than 48 hours notice, you will receive a refund after my costs have been satisfied. I will provide copies of purchase receipts.
